Retreat Overview
We chose Mexico City as the setting for our second retreat because of its vibrant, creative and entrepreneurial energy.
Between walks through the park, breaks for cinnamon-sugar churros and the most delicious tacos we’ve ever tasted, we talked through the biggest issues facing our businesses, got clear on our blindspots and explored the future of work and our place in it.
One attendee came out with the idea for her book and the conviction to write it as the next best step for her business. (She published it 9 months later!)
Another found solace in realizing we all face the ups and downs of entrepreneurship.
One got clarity on the direction for her newsletter, while another decided to pivot her business entirely.
All of us left feeling more connected to ourselves, our missions and each other.

"I charted my next steps!"
Spending four days with 12 people in various stages of building their solo business helped me chart out next steps in things like what I offer, how I sell it, and how I price it.
It also helped me refocus on what it is I really like to do for clients versus what drains me and what parts of my business I should outsource because they drag me down.
Probably the biggest benefit was gaining a new source of support, wisdom, and camaraderie in this one specific area of my life.
